Joshua
Generation Goes to Baguio City
Baguio
City --- We realize it or not, we all affect one another. By God’s grace,
Christians do it best. That is, they deliberately give out the best of
themselves to others as they themselves have been blessed and affected by God
himself.
How Christians affect one another especially the young in the Church community and outside of it, broke through like the first rays of the early morning sun until full day light in the consciousness of most of the participants who attended the Joshua Generation seminar here last January 6-7, 2007.
This first offering of the Joshua Generation Seminar for Northern Luzon begun with an early morning devotional about man’s relationship with God led by Mr. Andy Advincula, a youth leader from the WCG-Manila church. The devotional’s message inspired the proceedings of the two-day activity as it gradually moved on to show that a relevant ministry’s meaningful impact and significance is dependent on a solid and real relationship with the Lord.
The success of the seminar was manifested in the joyful faces of the participants (youths and parents) who were grateful for the insightful, friendly, praise-filled and worshipful Joshua Generation seminar conducted in their behalf by Pastor Rex de la Pena and beautiful wife Sheila. The seminar has reinforced individual and corporate resolutions to plan and pursue specific activities, projects and programs for the youth. –Robert L. Domoguen
