MOA Between WCG-CDO and NTC Signed -- Feeding of Children Begun
Cagayan
de Oro City -- A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Nourish the Children (NTC)
and WCG-Cagayan de Oro was forged last June 18, 2007 at the De Luxe Hotel,
Cagayan de Oro City.
It
was agreed by both parties to feed about 150 malnourished children and lactating
mothers from our Outreach Bible Study (OBS) areas in Barangay Cugman (this
city), the town of Initao (where we have an OBS) and in the town of Jasaan
(where we have a local church) for a duration of six (6) months. The NTC agreed
to provide VitaMeal, which is a nutrient-dense food, formulated to meet
the nutritional requirements of malnourished children. In turn, we agreed to
shoulder the freight and handling cost of the product and the manpower needed to
implement the project. During the MOA signing, the NTC was represented by its
Ambassador, Christopher T. Ybañez while WCG-CDO was represented by me. --Jerome

Pulong Paraiso Church Celebrates its 4th Anniversary
All for Christ Fellowship – Pulong Paraiso, a congregation of the Worldwide Church of God in Brgy. Paradise 3, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan celebrated their fourth anniversary as a church on June 17, 2007.
The Pulong Paraiso brethren were very much touched
with the presence of the National Director, Eugene M. Guzon. Kuya Eugene as the
local brethren endearingly call him exhorted them in their faithfulness to their
calling as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and as children of the Father.
Added to the joy of the brethren was the presence of
the pastoral teams from Malolos, Baliuag, Sta. Maria, and Lawang Pare Churches. They gratefully welcomed in particular the attendance of the Senior Pastor of
the Glory to the Lord Fellowship, Andrew Teng, who came with his wife, Gladys. He was the main speaker of the celebration. He centered on Ephesians 5:3–13,
which moved the attendees to a new understanding of the intent of the Most High
to restore the paradise to all the faithful believers of Christ. Kuya Andrew
also orchestrated the soul searching spiritual attachment of the attendees to
the new-found meaning of the Ephesians 5 by facilitating an in-deep sharing time
for all attendees clustered into nine groups.
A very appetizing lunch was served after the praise and worship service. The growing intimacy among the Bulacan church leaders became more and more apparent as they continued fellowshipping with one another. It was a wonderful and memorable day for all of us present in the celebration.
At about 3 pm, the National Director gathered all the church leaders churches present in the occasion. Kuya Eugene encouraged them to conscientiously consider attending the FCL (Foundation for Christian Leadership). He emphasized that FCL is the WCG entry point for leaders to understand and come to know the rudiments of church leadership. He informed everyone that the FCL modules being conducted for the Bulacan church leaders was sponsored by New Life Fellowship of California, USA, pastored by Pastor Bermie Dizon. Before the meeting ended with a prayer, the leaders who missed module 1, expressed their resolve to begin attending module two. --Orly P. Osillos – WCG National Office
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you." (2 Thessalonians 3:1)
